It’ll be interesting to see where Cogs plays… possibly more time on a wing?

Love this… I was at the game last night and so many kicks no one in the crowd knew what they were for

Ash is currently being named in just about every running All Australian team, he is probably leading the BNF and you want to drop him
Totally agree with this. Of the 75 turnovers we had, Ash contributed 5. Considering his role has him biting off difficult kicks regularly that’s not too bad. Whitfield had 4 but doesn’t get a mention

Regardless, we are damn privileged to have the two of them distributing off half back

AFL website’s takeaways from this round. Our forwards are certainly the envy of the league.

The Giants have an embarrassment of riches up forward

The form of Jake Stringer and Aaron Cadman over the past month, Callum Brown's consistent input on the scoreboard and the impending return of 2024 Coleman medallist Jesse Hogan creates an ominous Giants' forward line with just over a month left in the home-and-away season. Although it is a tall, attention-grabbing quartet, there is a world where all four can fit in an attack together, particularly given Stringer's increasingly team-first approach. Heavy scoring has become the side's brand of late and they have kicked scores of 100 or more in each of the past five weeks, including Thursday night's win over Essendon. With Hogan to return for next week's Sydney Derby, there is a real opportunity to bed down the attacking line and establish the chemistry required to stretch opposition defences throughout the finals series. - Gemma Bastiani

Wasn't the media shitting on us earlier in the year asking how we were going to score points?

They just blow in the wind.

Interesting analysis from Buckley here. Is allowing so many inside 50s against sustainable or is it an intentional tactic to springboard off half back and give the potent forward line more room to move. Would love to know, he seems confused by how they're still winning, but often you have to bring something new to the table to win a flag.
