Watch the injuries pile up because of the shit surface.Last 5 games at Marvel.
Shit finals prep.
Unpopular but Marvel is way better than the G. The roof, smaller stands and choice of food makes it such a good experience as a spectator.****ing Marvel stadium. 9 games there. Makes me sick.how many more “sell outs” with 5-10k empty seats do we have to endure?
More because i just wanted to give it to curnow but yeah that too hahaAfter OR it will be 12 games in NSW from the last 17 H+A matches. One of the remaining five was at Metricon during Covid. Only four in VIC.
Adelaide games are pretty good to travel over for but we always get pumped2 night games in Adelaide.
Bewdy.![]()
To me the oddity is our melbourne game at the G whereas our St Kilda home game is at Marvelour draw is super weird , so many interstate games cluttered .. no game against swans at the MCG when the AFL is all about cash and marvel last 5 games
Our double ups are fine , I only rate Brisbane
I agree but maybe because we traditionally play Melbourne at the G could be a reason… I would have thought our home game should be at the G for the saints and sydney at the G.. AFL didn’t get our memoTo me the oddity is our melbourne game at the G whereas our St Kilda home game is at Marvel
Woudlve have thought St Kilda at the G would draw a bigger crowd than melbourne
Agree to diasgree.Unpopular but Marvel is way better than the G. The roof, smaller stands and choice of food makes it such a good experience as a spectator.
I lived in Brighton for 20 years.Agree to diasgree.
I live bayside and to get to the ground by train and out is awful.
Atmosphere is seriously lacking.
Food relatively expensive.
And, as mentioned I've been to many sold out games with 45-48k spectators. Capacity is approx 56k. Large blocks of L2 partailly filled. (Medallion Club etc.)
For me the G wins hands down.
We have over 100k members, or at least we did, other than the obvious GWS, Freo, GC, Port. we should avoid the place.
The positive, we won't need many, if any, round 1 picks to draft Walker next year.![]()
I worked match days at the G for 5 years. Its gone down hill over time while Marvel keeps improving.
Might even get to pick before a bidThe positive, we won't need many, if any, round 1 picks to draft Walker next year.![]()
