Hi everyone,

SC Draft is back for 2026, and after running one 16-team league last season (the waiver wire and ruck lines were a whole situation), we'll be splitting into two or three 10-team leagues this year (depending on registrations).

Please get your entries in ASAP. Each draft will be scheduled for Monday 2 March at 7:00 pm AEDT (saves me a whole lot of administrative stress, lol).

League Rules

Team Structure
Three defenders, three midfielders, one ruck, three forwards and one flex player (3-3-1-3-1) with five players on the bench. 16 players total per team.

Fixture
Home and away season runs from Round 1 to Round 18 – every team will play each other twice.

Finals
The top five teams will make the finals (Round 19 to Round 22). Finals structure as shown below:

Basically means that the first-placed team could win the league with as little as two finals wins, second and third could win with as few as three, and fourth and fifth would have to win four.

Draft

As mentioned above, Monday 2 March at 7:00 pm AEDT. Snake draft, random order, 60 seconds per pick.

That should just about cover it for now, but please let me know if you have any questions. Badges will be the same as last season:

Is 7pm locked in?
I'm going to say yes at this stage, as it becomes a bit of a nightmare trying to get 10 people who don't know each other IRL to all agree on a time. Find setting it in advance with plenty of notice is the best way around it.

Do you have plans that can't be shifted?

Just kids bed time haha. 8.30 prob suits me a bit easier but ill make it work no matter what time suits the majority. It was a really smooth/efficient draft last year

Ah, that's fair haha. Preference is probably to leave it at 7:00 pm as it can run a bit late for some folks otherwise. Last year was nice and speedy, but you never know.

Happy to be overruled if people disagree though.
