we would get more than this to a game in melbourne after winning 2 in a row
hopefully we can get more to future games

don't worry , the side needs to sell itself back to the tiger army and wins are what counts....soon those drums will start beating awful loud..

eat'em alive tigers

too many closet supporters still. I have been through all of the last 15 years and I haven't missed a game this year. We should have had 30,000 today. 24,000 is pretty weak. You watch, we have won 3 in a row and those fans have missed them all and then they will decide to show up next week and we'll lose and then they will not show up until we win 3 more in a row.

I thought there would be slightly more there today but when you look at it in the context of Rich/Freo crowds in Melbourne over the years, it's a decent turnout.

The last three times Richmond played Fremantle at the MCG (2002-04) all drew crowds of less then 20 000. The biggest crowd ever for a Richmond/Freo match was the very first match in 1995 when 26 219, which wasn't that much higher then today's turnout.

speaking of the crowd

I'd just like to say congratulations to everyone who gave the young docker who hurt his knee warm applause as he come off.

Good to see that we arent always a feral lot.

Had to feel sorry for the kid.

yes that was a nice gesture to dodd(i think) bad luck that he was in the wrong place at the wrong time

Luckily for him they think its pinched cartledge in the knee and not an ACL injury.
If the team progress' so will the crowds, it will come eventually.
