Phew, what a day. A bit hard to find standout players today but....

3 - Dustin Fletcher (back to his best form)
2 - Danny Jacobs (performed well all day in the biggest game he has ever played in to date.)
1 - Joe Misiti (as usual, busted a gut and kicked an important goal when we needed it the most.

Bring back Lloydy and bring on next week.

Mate I was going to start this topic earlier, but I know that some smart arse would niominate goldspink for a vote. or 3.

3. Dean Solomon (sensational is all i can say, i dont like to believe rumours, but dean, please dont go)
2. Steven Alessio (the big fella stood up today when it mattered most, awesome performance)
1. Joe Misiti (worked hard all day)

wellman, fletcher and jacobs all very still
jacobs was outstanding for only his second final
and good to see bolton stand up to take that grab at the end of the last quarter, then have the mind to steady and pass to lucas

3. Steve Alessio: i thought he was "the" reason we won. In that 3rd quarter Rehn was giving Barnes at absolute bath, he wasnt even competitive. I thought after cess was moved back onto the ball we settled down a bit.

2. Misiti was fantastic all day.

1. Solomon - utter gun!

unlucky: jacobs, played a real good game I thought.

I also thought Lucas did pretty well. If he had of kicked goals instead of points, he woulda had a big day. He kicked 2 huge goals tho!!

3. Alessio, the Italian stallion played a blinder, let's hope he repeats it next week.

2. Solomon I told the Hawks supporters that he plays well above his height.

1. Misiti Nothing more needs to be said.

Bloody Lucas, great game but goal kicking practice all week I think.:(

3: Solomon
2: Misiti
1: Alessio

Lucas was great, apart from his accuracy.
Rama was ok as well as Wellman. Barnard also took a while to get going.

Sounds good to me.

Special mention to Rama & Fletch for keeping their heads in the backline.

3 J.Misiti
2 S.Alessio
1 D.Solomon

Danny Jacobs: Well played son, played yourself into a Grand Final.

where's wally?

3. Misiti
2. Solomon
1. D Jacobs (he looks better and better every time i see him. And he's always looked good.....)

Lucas - thank Christ he kicked that last goal......maybe give him a bit of confidence going into the GF, kicking-wise.

Good game.

3. Misiti - Great to see him back in a bit of form
2. Alessio - Killed em in the first half, thought he should have gone back into the ruck a bit earlier
1. Fletcher - The only reason they didn't completely run over us in the 3rd Quarter
