In one round. How long until we see it happen?

This weeks winner scored 2808 which included a 54 or 43 in defense depending on whether he had Sheppard or Silvagni as emergency for Maguire, a 99 from Martin, 78 from Cox and either 85 or 62 depending on whether he had Dangerfield or Fyfe as emergency for JB.

That's ****ing nuts. If he had had Lindsay Thomas (he had Jack Riewoldt) instead of JB, that's 2900!

How are we supposed to compete with that?

When someone flukes 3000 or if they change the scoring. I don't know... let me guess... round 17?

You'd be annoyed scoring 2808 and not having the outright best score for the week.

I haven't even cracked 2500 yet. Have been getting 2400+ scores.

I am not sure if anyone has ever cracked the 3000 in SuperCoach. Maybe someone can help me out here. 2808 would be one of the biggest scores ever.

Not impossible, it may happen one day, but....

For it to happen (and if my maths is correct) you'd need 21 players averaging a touch over 123 as well as having your captain score 200.

The 2x 2808 will definetly be an interesting situation when it comes to the car. It'd be unfair to use a countback and compare averages or anything because the whole idea is the highest score in a round, previous rounds should have no influence. It is probably in the terms and conditions somewhere though.

It's a moot point, as I'll be smashing the 2900 barrier this week. The car is mine.

I dont think it's possible. Teams start to peak at this time of year with good upgrading but the window for best possible score is closing.

You'll find that the next half dozen weeks scores should be high but then as players are laid off to be rested for the finals or even next season the big scores will stop.

3000 pts / 22 + captain = ave 130.4 = nigh impossible

Hardly. This is a team made up of the highest scores of the round for each position. It is an unlikely team, but not impossible. All it takes is the right amount of luck, good captain choice and high scores from your mid range players.

Granted you don't get 200+ scores very often, let alone twice in one round, but this team is at a plausible price given some teams are already over 13 000 000.

If you have 2 players score over 200 (especially if one of them is captain), then the average needed from the rest of your players won't be nearly as high.

To my knowledge it's never been done in five seasons of SuperCoach, with an average of 200,000 teams per season (guessing) and 22 rounds a season. So on that very basic evidence it is probably less than a 1 in 22 million chance.

That's true, but it isn't impossible. The team I posted isn't beyond the realms of possibility. Alot of popular players in that team. Also you can't count all 22 rounds as equal. Salary cap dictates scoring potential to a certain extent, and the further into the year we go, the more premiums teams get, also alot of the teams in the comp are just abandoned.

You can even scrap 3000 in round 1 with this team:
