The VFL Swans have another “son of’’ on their list this season.

Joel Crocker, whose father, Darren, played with John Longmire at North Melbourne, signed with the club in the past few days.

After VFL stints with North Melbourne and Frankston, he joined Southport last year, only to be struck down by a groin injury.

Crocker is playing at Waratah in the NTFL with Sydney VFL skipper Will Collis.
