He is definitely going along nicely. Not shooting the lamps out but very noticeable improvement and has some nice tools, speed, height, ball use. A good part of his game this year that others have noted on here is his spoiling. He is effecting several emphatic ball killing spoils per game. This is a good sign I think. Love to see him sneak a game or two in at AFL level this year and he is probably one more level of noticeable improvement away from being a genuine contender for and AFL spot.

You have to remember Miller played on Tom McDonald whereas Biggie played on first year player Van Rooyen for the most part I think.

Yeah. I just dont rate Miller at all. Just a decent VFL player in my eyes. Biggie has far greater potential

Fair enough, Miller clearly has to find a bit to be a regular AFL player, but I haven’t written him off yet, he is just 22yo. Got schooled by McDonald but that alone is not terminal.

One thing with Biggy like all his countrymen, they are great runners and jumpers with good skills, but it is always a matter of whether they can avoid being shifted off the ball too easily. All of these tests await young Biggy.
