Two things thought Brando was reliable in the first half when others where at 6’s and 7’s and couldn’t get their games going which helped keep us in the game. Better than reliable, he held up his end of the stick and played well.
But the big thing when Broad went down and off they had to rejig things and they put Ellis on Ablett.
I was pretty twitchy about Broad going off and the game was there to be won or lost.
We didn’t really have anybody else to put back there and there was a few contests where Ellis stopped Ablett or created stoppages and didn’t lose, till he got a handball from Houli and switched which didn’t work and they scored from it which shi.ted me a bit but the point is the stage was set for Ablett and it was Ellis who didn’t let it happen and Scott moved him up to the ball to get him in the game, which didn’t work.
Good onya Brando

Was by a country mile his best final. Didn't deserve to stay in the team for the prelim but deserves it for next week.
First half, was like Brando, WOW!!! Cracking in when the team really needed it. Quite a few players were quiet vs Brizzy. JR, Rioli, Nank, and Houli kind of quiet. Baker, Rioli or Nank would've been in the firing line if Stack was fit or Kmac was in form.
But the 22 got the job done again last night. Nank again looking slow. Both decision making and across the ground. Won't be any unforced changes though. Stack for JR & Kmac for Broad

Was huge tonight, especially when we were under the pump. Him and George, both maligned here, stood up massively.
Seems to be the case this year for some reason...Team plays well, Ellis is ordinary...Team is under the pump, Ellis is in the bests!?!?
Is it the Team structures?!?
