If you were walking down a busy street and saw a $5 note on the ground that wasn't yours would you pick it up?

It happened to me today at lunch.

I thought about picking it up but didn't because I was too embarrassed to do it in front of others. I don't know if anyone else around me saw it but no-one else picked it up either.

What would you do?
