You'll find most real Hiphop fans don't particularly like lyrics about shooting people etc anyway.

yeh not really into rap, hip hop n all that kinda ********...dont have anything against it but when u get pure crap 50 cent songs being replayed and replayed on commercial radio and ch.v and mtv etc, i basically want 2 smash either the tv or radio everytime one of his songs come on, there always just waaaaay too overplayed...by the 5th time in a day i hear it...oh man im pretty ********ed off by that stage

the gun running thing actually got to a point where, in spite of being the biggest act in the US at the time, theri label considered dropping them, and every other major had already issued statemetns to their artists to not mention wu tang in any of their songs...

it could be bs, but wutang never had a reason to impress anyone, they actually have talent.

That may be the case, I may not be able to make a rap song (though, I can perform one. Anyone can). But that doesn't change the fact that compared to real musicians rap "artists" are insignificant.
