Well at the moment we are sitting 5th and could well stay there providing we get some luck on our side..

If Brisbane beat Sydney and the Bulldogs beat Dockers ( VERY, VERY, VERY unlikely) then we stay fifth. That could actually turn a bit of a mungrel weekend into a better one!
Wadda y arekon our chances are..?

Ummm, not good. However I agree with what someone said in another thread, the 2 points are almost as useful to us as 4 as we have a better percentage than Essendon, Sydney and Freo

If you won that game and beat us in the derby, you probably would have finished top 4, but now.... seeing as though Adelaide and Collingwood have a better % than the Eagles and are likely to win one more game each, top 4 is unlikely. If we win tomorrow and unless we beat the Bombers in Melbourne, the derby will probably be for a home final.

It won't really matter if you beat Essendon or not, you won't catch our percentage, so we can go into the derby 4 points behind you and still finish in 5th:D

If someone said a draw could move you up to 5th I would have easily taken that. We are lucky our good percentage early on in the year seems as if it is going to help us at the business end of the season.

Melbourne next week will be a chance to capitalise and build on the percentage while Round 22 will be a tough one, hopefully with Gardiner and Embley back.

Nah, but if we beat Essendon, then the derby could be for a top 4 spot for us.

What a difference a single point makes.

If we'd had a one point win this week and Freo had failed to score that last gasp point last wek the table would have looked a lot different.
Its funny how the top eight is at the moment.... A few weeks ago we were 2nd... look at us now...
