7 gone how many can we draft

Is there going to be 8 Kids worth taking.
Given the first six barely played on 2005 any one or kids will improve our list.

What draft picks do we have after 2 & 5 I suppose it must be 22, 38, 54, 70 & 86 plus David Fanning off the rookie list

Whilst we would like Power, Bartel etc I do not think it will happen.

Or will we use our first 5 and then leave two for PSD or promote a rookie in March.

We have done well with Rookies over the years, Maxwell, Harry in the last two.

We have room to get rid of couple more (even three) if we do another trade as well as the Cole trade (player for player) and promote O'Brien and/or Davies.

Where do we get the replacements?
Six draftees, two trades for currently listed players, two rookie promotions. Thats tons of turnover without going to the same well too often.

I can just see Davidson going on to be a stellar player (with luck with injuries) and CFC completely regretting the choice. But yeah, i did read somewhere he was still going to train with us over the pre-season, is that information reliable? i think i heard the same about shaw... Except it might have actually been at a different club

Thanks Us3 you are correct.

I was happy with TClo, Rusling, Egan, Harry, Davies, Fanning and all the kids.

But we had 6 blokes getting paid for wearing Armani Suits and playing in the VFA.

If Cole & Woey are gone and if we can by some strange twist of fate pick up Luke Power we will have to give up a couple of picks say 5 & 21.

Then in what everyone is saying is a shallow draft we might be better off elevating Davies, Fanning and leaving Harry and having 3 rookies. But we always have two long term injuries so if the draft has some kids

No chance B Shaw. Outside chance Davidson but I doubt it. If OBrien and Davies remain on the rookie list, the club will want to fill the other two spots with some fresh talent, not recycled players.
