You never know anyone's true financial situation. A couple of failed businesses put a dent on anyone's funds. And no idea if his gyms are thriving or going bust. Let alone that ludicrous sock company my mates the biggest Cotchin fanboy but was filthy being forced to buy the socks for his daughters school.

Channel 7 is hopeless at reading the room. What non-Geelong people see as a diving sniping thug and cheat, Channel 7 sees as 'brave' and 'courageous' and an ornament to the game. So as a consequence one of the most unpopular figures in football (and clearly least talented media performer imaginable) is rewarded with a big fat TV contract. Cotchin on the other hand is just bland and wooden.
