HeightWhat were the knocks on Hobbs pre draft eDPS? Seems to be putting it all together at the top level.
Heppell... maybe Z MerrettWho was the last ready-made/play every week 18 year old we've had? This bloke has Captain written all over him.
Pidge went okHeppell... maybe Z Merrett
His speed doesn’t appear as a big a liability as first thought. And his overhead marking makes up for the height aka Parker styleHeight

Parish played 20 games in 2016Pidge went ok
I love this kid. Does all the hard stuff and then that overhead handball which led to Phillips’ goal was phenomenal. A little more experience and composure around goal and he’ll be an incredible footballer.
was a blink and miss it moment, and I did. I had to rewind to see what the commentary were on about. In 1 second he saw Caldwell and executed the perfect handball, brilliant.
Pidge was 2017 (so after Parish who probably wouldn’t have played 20 games if we didn’t have half the list suspended)Parish played 20 games in 2016
Cox 20 last year (though tapered off)
There is no way Cox was as at home in year one in the big time as Hobbs is. Cox looked great and then as you say either got worked out or ran out of puff.Parish played 20 games in 2016

Parish was excellent that year though. Went a little early but thought he had cousins all over him with his running and ball hunting. There is no way Cox was as at home in year one in the big time as Hobbs is. Cox looked great and then as you say either got worked out or ran out of puff.
Parish maybe but that year was so wack it's hard to tell.
Midfielder Ben Hobbs looks likely to take his place in the Bombers’ side against Collingwood after being cleared of any major damage to his shoulder.
Hobbs suffered a big knock to the area from Gold Coast midfielder David Swallowin the second term, but played on throughout the rest of the match.PLAYERCARDSTART24David Swallow

Murphy said Hobbs’ ability to get through main training will ensure the 19-year-old’s availability.
“’Hobbsy’ copped that heavy knock in the game that needed attention,” Murphy said.
“He’s pulled up pretty well. He’s got to get through main training during the week to see how he gets up for the weekend but all things are looking pretty promising and he should be right to go.”
Prove it.he’s gotten better looking over the year too, nice bonus
