It was good to see the boys rally late in the last quarter and try to win the game.

It was good to see the 'class' of Yarran, he looks dangerous around the ball and his one goal was an excellent effort for his first game in AFL footy.

The backline were good, they deflected Freo all the time.

Judd was always in the game, Murphy was terrific, and Gibbs picked up alot of possessions. Simpson, Scotland and Steven rallied for the whole game and their class always kept us in it. Thornton was tireless in defense, and is edging toward the 'All Australian' quality that was bandied around this board about 5 years ago.

Even though we got humiliated in the ruck, the clearances were positive.

The work rate by the boys was commendable. Even though Freo led all night, we were still in the game for the most of it. The narrow loss was commendable, considering we were missing key players like Carazzo, Houlihan and Walker.

The boys look in good shape to have a big win against Collingwood next year.

Thornton all Australian? lol, did you watch the game? FMD you must be a fool if you think he was good tonight or over the last few weeks. There was nothing positive about tonight, the only positive was that the same old people were the ones busting their balls, and Yarran.

I thought Armfield played hard at a good tempo. Made some errors but at least was in the play. The Fab four were good but I think Army deserves to walk off with his head highish!
