New York Magazine reported on Sunday that Rodriguez could end up with the Chicago Cubs next season with a contract that could be worth as much as $30 million a year for 10 years and includes an ownership stake in the team."

When it was first floated that he might go to the Cubs I didn't really give it a second thought but with the Cubs manager being Lou Pinnella (who was A-Rod's manager in his early years at Seattle) there is every chance that he could take the money and move to the Cubs.
Although where would they play him? Aramis Ramirez is there starting 3rd baseman who IIRC just signed a new 5-year deal to stay in Chicago, so maybe A-Rod would be the starting short stop?
