Long time no see, folks. Trust you're all well.
I'm not going to bother trying to articulate my stance on the events of the last few hours, I'm sure everyone's got their own opinions and I learned long ago that there's not much point in trying to sway them. But whilst I was trying to make sense of what's happened, why it went down in this fashion and how we would recover from such turmoil, I couldn't get this one paralysing thought to dissipate within my mind. It's absolutely crippling me because I never thought that I'd ever have to face this thought. The fact that it's sticking with me makes me feel like this is the day the music died.
The one and only national identity to truly personify the die hard Fremantle fan and bring it to a wider audience was, of course, the late Matt Price. I can't help but think that Matt (rest his soul) would be turning in his grave tonight at the thought of Mark Harvey's cloak and dagger demise.
