He should contest, it was a bloody soft incident, played up by Ablett, the umpire got sucked in and reported McVeigh because he thought he smashed him in the throat.

I can see Adam McPhee on BJ. Nothing against Macca, except for his hair, but I don't like that one bit. Macca is too attacking to play on the most important player in the Bulldust team. Can't think of a better choice though. Paddy's too tall and inexperienced, Mal is too slow, Fletch is too suspended...

Yeah, Welsh is a good pick. But, then we lose him up forward on a half back flanker. Johns probably keeps his spot to stretch the defence. We could have Lloyd, Lucas, Laycock and Johns up forward, with Lovett and Houli at their feet. Interesting.

Without McVeigh I'm very worried about the Brad Johnson match-up, maybe NLM, Slattery would be a little slow and inexperienced for my likeing
mcveigh is gone for the week, even if he contests he will still be out for this weekend... the best choice in terms of shutting johnson down is welsh however with gilbee and mcmahan in defence we could use welsh to shut them down.. next i would try slattery on him i think slattery would do a good job... if not theres always mcphee or NLM to go on him. perhaps rama would be an option?
Ive give the job of minding BJ to Slats. What concerns me are players like Akermanis and Higgins...give them an inch and 2-3 goals in a quarter from either would be the penalty. Might have to adopt a flood if they get the early jump on us.
