A worrying trend

Lycett forward looked like it was going to be a match winner early in the piece. He had Talia shitting his pants.

Unfortunately Naita is getting towelled up by second rate and over the hill rucks routinely the last month is just a bridge too far for us given our other KPP issues. Our midfield is mentally weak, simply not enough campaigner in them when it gets hot in the kitchen - far too much looking around for someone else to do the work.

That is the problem. So many Eagles players stand on the outside waiting for the easy ball. They don’t want to commit their body. It is very frustrating to watch.
And when they do decide to attack the ball, they tend to all go at once, spoil each other or fumble it, and it goes to the opposition.

Happened way too much over the last few weeks.

Good attack at the footy and clean hands are all we ask for

Agreed. The fumbling is out of control.

I do think though with playing Yeo in the backline robbed us of one of our key midfielders - was a coaching mistake & Yeo should have been left in the middle, however our hands were tied a bit with our injuries. Also with Sheed out as well it left too much to Redden who looked stuffed! Shuey hasn't regained his form since returning from injury either which hasnt helped our cause. When we played Richmond earlier in the year which players were being played through the midfield, as we seemed to cope that day.
