Aye, I loved his blind turn. He is very enthusiastic and you can tell that he loves his footy. With a bit of polish and when he learns hot to kick with both feet (Quite noticeable how he runs around to his favoured side) he will be a very handy player. This is the first time I've seen him play and I like what I see :D

He got shown up early on by Wirrapunda, but he fought back late against Humm. Wirra commented on SEN this morning that even he was surprised how quickly Aaron was on his hammer last night.

It's different watching him live because you can see the off the ball stuff. He was quite good defensively again but needs to look at his positioning near goal. We had no presence at ground level & Vardy & Davey were both guilty of not getting front & square.

He has a long way to go, it was good to see him out on a wing towards the end. No point leaving the kid in starvation corner for the entire pre-season.

He's fairly unique because defensively he chases really hard and has one of the best tackling techniques for a player of his weight in the competition.

His tackling and willingness to put pressure on the back players was one of the first things I noticed, just for this alone he'll be a great asset. Makes me wonder why the roos didn't try harder to get him.

They would've been prepared to take 1 rookie & the only one they were interested in was Flash. We got him first & it surprised them a bit I reckon. We waited till the Rookie draft too so I don't think we can claim any huge coup here. Still I'm rapt we've got him :D.

Couldn't agree with you more, he certainly caused Wirra to make some skill areas from a normally very skilled player. Didn't get too many possies but if he continues that sort of defensive pressure he'll stay in the team.

I was impreesed with his chasing but not so much his tackling technique. I'd like to see him use his body a bit more and be a bit more aggressive in applying the tackle. A couple of times now I've seen him come close to laying a beauty but he just wasnt hard enough in the tackle and his target slipped through pretty easily.

Seven News tonight interviewed Daniher who said we might not have the cash to promote him to the senior list. We better go out and buy those memberships now! It would be a disaster if he wasn't in contention for senior games.

He wouldn't be on his own there on our recent history though would he!? ;)

I'd say FOR HIS SIZE he's a pretty good tackler, but he's got a lot of work to do on both his size & his tackling.

For now he has to play to his strengths & his defensive pressure will continue to worry teams.

this kid can play, speed is what footy is these days and his got more then enough of that, and who needs a right foot when your that fast , he has still got a bit of work to do but from what we all have seen we should be happy, he makes the dees look twice as exciting.

they say that there is more talent where he is from(darwin)? so why dont we do some scouting up there, the wrecker is from there isnt he? they say that flash has brothers that are just as quick as him, i think they play in adelaide.

i think davey need to know when to calm down

playing on from inside the goalsquare against port after marking well was pretty stupid but he will definatly learn these things

hes already a very accomplished player for a rookie

Sounds like what Jeff Farmer did to Garry Lyon a few years ago. We have to remember he's still learning and can only get better.

Who needs a right foot when no-one can catch you anyway??

Damn right!

Robertson shouldn't have been screaming for that handpass anyway, a true leader would've put his arm around Flash & walked him back telling him that he can kick that goal.

I'd doubt Flash will get sucked in like that again.
