i went with Ling on the basis that with 3 Elite Midfielders, we might need a good run with player...
but i think Selwood is the best on out of those 3...

See, depends on how you pose the question. Game breaker - Selwood probably.

But who would I prefer NOT to omit for a critical game like the one this Sun? Close between Ling and Enright (Mr Constantly Underestimated), with a slight leaning to CoreyE in his current form. I thought he was BOG in 2007 GF, certainly in top 4, and he is consistently good against all opposition.

I went for Selwood too. Should've made a Prismall option as I didn't want my vote for other confused as a vote for Shannon.

In 2010, Geelong will have a quartet that will rival that of the Lions' from '00 - '04 and the Eagles of '04 - '06.

Ablett - 26
Bartel - 26
Corey - 29
Selwood - 22
...(I'm not sure if I got those ages spot on)

... at the moment, despite the fact that we have Ablett, we don't compare because Bartel, Corey, and Ling, are not as good as were Cousins and Kerr, or Black, Aker and Lappin.

However, in two years, Selwood will hopefully have become the equal of those guys, and we will therefore have Ablett, Bartel, Selwood and Corey as a bonafide fab four to rival any midfield in reputation.

On the proviso of course that Corey doesn't go downhill dramatically in his late twenties.

Chappy, then either Selwood or Linga.

You're all forgetting what Chapman brings to the side. It was a toss up between him and SJ for the Norm Smith in the GF last year.

I was seeing it more as mids. Yes Chapman plays mid at times, but I'd class him as a forward.

I put a $20 on Enright for the Norm Smith...

Ended up with the most possessions too.

And my vote's with Ling. The other's can cover Selwood in some respects. No one can cover the big orange rug.
