“Scans are good. Just showed some swelling … Nothing serious!”
Might even play this week!

---------------------------------------
Looks like it might be only a week.

But Gold Coast is certain the scans will reveal no major structural damage to the medial ligament and, buoyed by Ablett's positive progress yesterday, remain optimistic he will only be sidelined for a week.

Good news!

I had already started planning for a longer injury.

Was going to sideways trade him to Pendlebury (missed the boat).

And then bring Ablett back in after 3 odd weeks when he has lost some value.

But his breakeven is 175 which is close to achievable for Ablett and with only one week out my plan isn't worth doing.

If it felt 'really good' then why the fk didn't he stay out there? Get paid the big bucks, play in pain you soft ****.

I guess it didn't feel really good at the time?

From what I understand, Ablett wanted to stay on, but Coaches pulled rank and put the red vest on him. Need to make sure that he's not making an injury even worse I suppose.

Playing him for the rest of that match wouldn't have changed anything. But having him run the injury into the ground and make it worse, leaving him out for 3-4 weeks maybe, would be bad for future matches. Especially with the Pies and Geelong at Skilled coming up.

Ablett a chance to play this week. No major damage, just swelling around the knee area.

From his twitter:

"Scans are good! Just showed some swelling.... Nothing serious! #juststrainedaheartmuscle"

There is a god.

Ohhh No...

I just traded him to NDS......
obs noobs noobs noobs noobs noobs

Wadda why would you do that?

TBH -NDS is a beast right now, so I wouldn't say a bad trade, maybe a waste. I'm regret Boyd over NDS, as NDS is a beast........

^ this!

or a couple of low scores so we can all get on him!

LOL why would you say that? nah all good, Ablett as my DVC this week

Woooo, great news. I wouldn't mind if he missed a week, but with Selwood back i would love to at least once have a full premium midfield on the ground at the same ****ing time. :thumbsu:
