GeeCat said:Kirk's had a good year as well, would rather have liked to have seen Ling get the nod ahead of Chad Fletcher.

Ling and Kirk was probably a toss of the coin, methinks that Kirk got in on last year's performance (don't ask why).
Ablett shouldn't have been picked - as someone else said, Phil Matera didn't even get it.![]()
GeeCat said:Fletcher had a fantastic year, so don't get me wrong there, but as Phat mentioned, if he can get in then surely Ling was deserved of a spot as well. Just one of those ones that leaves you pondering I guess.
leonmagic said:May get my head bitten off here, but I reckon disposal would be why Fletcher got in ahead of Ling.
Which begs the question - Kirk???

I can't see how you can give a bloke AA who can't use both feet..
Ling > Kirk.
phatandphreaky said:Fletcher and Ling's numbers were remarkably similar. I think Fletcher won a little bit more of the ball, whilst Ling took a HEAP more marks (finished top 6 in the league for marks) and kicked twice as many goals.
Fletcher had a great year, but if his year was good enough to get him in, then Ling should definitely have been there.
