Love the idea of the development academy and the mentors we've put in place. I'd like the club to consider adding one more to the list. I'd like the Saints to find out if Kevin Sheedy would be interested in a part-time role next year.
Signing Sheeds would be a huge coup for the club. Over 30 years coaching experience, wily and a master at dealing with kids, hell that's a huge part of what he's been doing the last few years at Western Sydney. He'd also be a valuable sounding board for Watters and the other assistants. The benefit to Sheedy is to come back to Melbourne and still be involved in the game at the highest level.
It's probably a long shot and with Sheeds would come his antics and opinions but I think that's a small price to pay.
