Adam Iacobucci

Apologies if there has been a thread on this topic before, but I have realised that his name has been up there in the best regularly for the Bullants. Could we pick him up as a mature aged rookie? Geelong gambled on Pods at 28 and it has worked for them. Adam is 24, so he has plenty of years left at his peak.

He was already listed and delisted by Collingwood. Champion VFL player and a great captain to the Bullants but too inconsistent at AFL level.
No shame in that.

To be fair Adam never really got many opportunities at AFL level. I can only recall one game against Melbourne and he was not on the ground for long. With the talent pool getting shallower he would be worth a rookie spot I'd think.

Can't fault his efforts and his endeavour but from what I've seen of him, his disposal would really hold him back at AFL level.

Seems like one of those players that will be excellent VFL players but simply unable to make the step up to the top league.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - if we are to recruit a more mature player onto our list at the end of the season, it should be Ashley Arrowsmith. I have been very impressed by him.
