More info on Adam Kingsley

Originally from the Eastern Ranges, Kingsley played in the Essendon reserves before being snapped up by Port, where he developed into a reliable midfield contributor.

Won the Power’s best and fairest in the 1998 season and developed into a fine linking player.

He had a steady 2002 season without being outstanding. A hamstring injury put him out of action in the run up to the finals and although he returned in time he had a limited impact.

He had a flat year in 2003 and his career looked in jeopardy when he was one of six players told they would be delisted immediately after the club bombed out of the finals, but he was given another chance.

He eagerly grasped the lifeline and completed the fairytale by being part of the 2004 premiership win.

After a solid 2005 season, Kingsley's career was ended by a severe knee injury in 2006.

Adam is currently on the assistant coaching panel at Port Adelaide.
