I am going to apologies to Young Patto.

I doubted him from day one. Always said he didnt have the pace, ability or smarts to make it at AFL level as anything. Couldnt believe we overlooked wood, who has much more talent then Pattison. But I knew he had a work ethic and would be the player who would prove me wrong and make the grade.

Well he has done that. Will be a very good player for us for many years to come. Certainly has his deficiencies but i wish Meyer, Hughes, Polo and a few others had his determination and work ethic. Hope he continues to improve and make himself into one of the quality rucks in the competition. And Cannot wait for the day he towels up Kruezer

Not sure of his efficiency rating but when Patto's around the ball, things usually happen.
Granted... sometimes little things like tackles, shepherds, knock on's etc but for a big bloke, this is just excellent.
"Best Clubman" award written all over him I reckon!

Probably had his worst game for the year this week ironically. However he did some very good things where he effectivly beat 3 doggies on the wing to pass it of to Tambling and then 20 seconds later run up to CHF to collect a mark

the best thing about this bloke you know he is going to give 100% each week, which is all we can ask of im at this stage. i love the way he seems to find space when playing in the ruck.

Has shown fantastic heart for this football club, even last year when he was basically dropped in it.

I think that, while Hughes, Meyer, etc. have better skills, he is streets ahead of them due to his love of a contest and winning attitude.
