(this is not a brazen attempt to lord that I scored FRONT row Tickets via Ticketmaster - Im so excitead and its not even me going $300 tickets now approaching $5k on resale - brag over)

Ticketmaster getting holier than thou when they themselves regualrly allow people to re-sell?

And if the bot checker isnt working - why bother having it - its just slowing ordinary punters down.

But surely the answer is to have a ticket ballot? bots can be detected and weeded out

FWIW tou can still get $750 tickets in the VIP sale - standing room inside the stage. Why are people paying that to sit at the very back?

People are stupid and businesses will always look to capitalise on that.

Also with stadium concerts, anything not quite full on metal type is shocking at a stadium with all the reflected sound could even be worse in the round as the speakers are relatively far apart the reso of the Adele tour wasnt in the round so I suspect lots of compromises for the aussie set up.

as such, the front batch of people will have at least ten times better experience than at the back. basically the people up the back are subsidising those at the front bigtime, which is why i'm stoked my family have front row - didnt even pay VIP prices either

I suspect the first line sales outfits have financial stake in the resellers - with ticketmaster resale they dont even keep it secret - theres no way they would sit by and let huge batches of tickets get a minimum 4x markup
