Hey boys, just wondering if any of you have used adjustable cam machines. A gym in town has STRIVE Strength machines, which feature an adjustable cam which makes different parts of the movement harder.
Eg. Lat Pulldown
Set 1- Point of most resistance is in the middle of the movement
Set 2- Resistance increases as you move through the range of motion
Set 3- Resistance is maximal at the beginning of the movement and eases off as you progress through ROM
Marketed as a way to target different parts of the muscle (origin, belly, insertion) without changing exercises.
I'm pretty sure Geelong Cats have them, or something similar and Manly Sea Eagles as well.
Just curious to know if you boys have had any experience with them or heard much about them?
