I'm trying to make a new avator in image ready, and I have done all of the slices etc so the pictures change. In adobe the file opens as a .psd file. The problem is I don't know how to convert it so that it will opens in Internet explorer. When I try to open it in explorer I get this message:

Because JPEG, PNG, and WBMP do not support animation, Image Ready will save only the currently selected frame for slice 1.

Can anyone help? I am self taught and have never used this kind of software before.

Thanks.

I think you need to save your images (slices) as gifs first instead of jpegs

Then, when you go to save the animation, use "Save Optimized as" instead of the standard "Save" function. It will then save the object as an animated gif

You can save the PSD file as well (just use the standard "Save" function), so that you'll still have the separate slices in case you need to edit it later!

Good luck! :)
