Advice needed on Injury Struck Forward Line

I don't think the options suggested are very good. They all leave him in a pinch latter as he is spread too thin.

Robo simply has to go, you can't afford to sit for 8 weeks only to have a player with poor fitness come into your side. Ryan Murphy has to go because he is your 2nd most expensive and not a certain starter.

I would do:
Aaron Edwards for Robbo
Brad Johnson for Murphy
Leave 250K in the bank
Next week
Chapman for Monfreis

That gives you two more guns and a permanent bench while getting rid of three duds. I don't think you could do better than that.

Just getting the players right, probably could just go with them three, alot of people have ideas of these big 4. Brown, Hall etc, any reason you said Brad Johnson and Chapman instead, pretty much between them they are worth 1.1 million so would anyone choose a different combo instead?

You'd think Edwards would be pretty certain with Thompson having a knee recko. He has a goal and 6 marks in both his game so i think it is pretty likely. Certainly much more likely than Varcoe or Cambell (your other options at 90k).

For you Brown seems off limits because you don't have any trades and he is notorious for injuries but he has the most scoring potential in the league. I intend on picking him up.

Barry Hall I am dubious about because of the knee injury he sustained a few weeks ago. He did come out and kick 4. But is Daniel Merritt a big scalp?

Equally I think Bulldogs and Geelong will improve giving Johnson and Chapman more opportunities to score. Johnson disposal which he is ussually brilliant with has let him down the last two weeks, he could have easily kicked 6 against St Kilda.

At the end of the day you have to be comfortable with your choices. Doesn't really matter so much who you choose.

Edwards will play a lot but at only 6 foot is not a solid enough player to grab plenty of marks and is not also the quickest. Al Davey is good if you have enough money, if not hawkins is a good option this week because he has only played two games. Value will go up and will be a good cash cow later when you want to upgrade for big guns
