Danni you obviously still have feelings, even after all this time. That's gotta be telling you something. You say it was a long time ago, and you're a different person, and so is he.

All you need to ask yourself is "What's the worst thing that can happen?" Weigh up that. Don't let sense and practicalities get in the way of what your heart tells you. I say take a chance.

You should only ever regret things you've done, not the things you haven't. That's way harder to live with. And at least your eyes are open now.

Go for it.

Well, I've done a PM on my thoughts to you Danni, now I'll give my thoughts on Or's post...

That's crap. To base a big decision about a person who seriously hurt you on a saying which, yes, sounds great, but makes no sense.

If I love someone, I don't let them go (except my ex...:(). You are stupid to let them go if you love them. Now Danni, if you've been burnt by the fire before, why follow the smoke?

Personally, I don't believe in destiny or fate, and that's my perogative. But whatever you believe, surely logic and common sense must provail? Itwon;t be a beautiful thing if he hurts you...again. :(

You are letting your own experiences and whatever anger you hold towards this topic get in the way of understanding what I was saying.
Sometimes loving someone means letting them go! Sometimes there are circumstances which are beyong either of you, that keep you apart.
Common sense is good and of course you gotta think about what you are going to do, but sometimes, especially when it comes to the matters of the hearts its best to do just that, and follow your heart. Like Mandy said, its better to regret things you've done that things you haven't done.
Everyone deserves a second chance because we are all humans (most of us anyways! :o) and we all make mistakes.
Its a generalisation that all second chances are wasted, because sometimes you realise what went wrong and redeem yourself the second time around.
Its up to Danni really and I'm sure she'll sort it out, but before you listen to anyone or anything else, listen to your heart!
