Yea gotta be said. Yes they are inexperienced but they've been down (and getting the picks that come with that) for a long time and just not hard enough to play against.

Clarko should be under the pump, North looked harder to play against when Ratten was coaching them last year.

Interesting half. Cats are unselfish whereas several nmfc players have burnt their own team mates. Curtis looks a promising player but is playing in a shellfish manner.

I honestly thought nmfc would be play better.
Yea I like Curtis possibly more than anyone else at North but he's missed a couple he should have got and had a couple of other disappointing moments. Still, he's one of few people in the side you want kept out of the play.

People bag Essendon for not running the other way but Norh are deadset allergic to tracking back.
One kick over the back in transition and Geelong forward 50 is vacant except for Cameron.

1st half assessment

Positives
  1. Biggy has done some good things down back in just his 2nd game.
  2. Sheezel’s bullets into forward 50
  3. Stephen’s showing a lot more that his 4 first games.
  4. Comden down back and playing there over the Summer has been a good move. He looks at home down there.
  5. First goal for Drury at this level.
  6. Tom Powell looking better and better each week.
  7. Lazz done well since coming on for McKercher
Negatives

  1. Disposal of Sympkin and Scott has been terrible. Please do not have Scott kick in the back half. Stupid tactics from the backline coach.
  2. Curtis in front of goal. We don’t have the luxury of missing these shots. Awesome tackle but undid your good work.
  3. Midfield - just seems incredibly broken and not functioning at all. Players, Coaches, Strategy??
  4. Tackles being missed and not stuck. Watch X and Hughie for lessons on how to nail.
  5. Sellers - 1st game and probably as nervous as hell. But would love to see a couple of touches in the 2nd half for his confidence and the clubs.

St Kilda, Adelaide away, Hawthorn, Bulldogs and North wasn't an "easy" start on paper at the start of the year.

Most people probably expected 2 games (Hawks and Roos) to be potentially 'easy wins', and even then it was expected both would improve significantly on last season.

Not popular, but realistically Tasmania might as well replace Nth Melb rather than have an odd number of teams in the comp.

Can't have a team being this bad for so long.

Distorts the comp when only a few teams play Nth Melb twice in a season.
