Derrrwayne just dropped a chaos ball and made it someone else's problem. Surprised he didn't find a way to somehow relate it back to the Power like he usually does.

Liked: Non-Vic sides all beating Vic sides (though I like the Doggies). Gold Coast winning a statement game and GWS looking ominous.
Learnt: Not really learnt, but just confirmed to me the Bulldogs and Hawks are no chance to win the cup. I just can't see Geelong winning it all either. The Eagles are probably one of the most competitive 1 win sides of recent times. We really must beat Richmond next week.
Hated: The umpiring, what's new. The level of skills of a marquee Richmond Essendon 'game' on Saturday night. It was an anti-contest, I swear it was down to who was less dogshit on the night. I'm no fan of Essendon, but I feel for their players dropping like flies, and their supporters who've been in the wilderness so long. Them and Carlton being mediocre to terrible, but non-competitive, is getting a bit old. But I'll probably long for these days again when they get good again.

Liked: Noah Anderson. The player and leader that GC need.
Him, Rowell, Miller and Witts should be hard to play against.
Cadman and Stringer (remember him?) kicking a few.
Learnt: I'm glad the Swans aren't closer.
Hated: Not much at all. The Tiges/Dons games was poo, but they both have the cue in the rack and enough players missing to make a decent side.

Liked: Loved the Crows-Dogs shootout and Dockers’ clutch finish, a real finals intensity!
Learnt: The Blues’ issues run much deeper than effort; the Lions’ pressure game is back in a big way; Crows are the real deal.
Hated: The Tigers-Bombers slog.
Other thoughts: The ladder “logjam” is real, one game between 4th & 9th making the finals race alive! And umpiring still needs more consistency.

Couldn’t get Div 8 Reserves on TV so went for the next worse thing…
Hated: MRO inconsistency. Reid somehow dodges a suspension for a blatant and dangerous trip. Darcy isn't even cited for collapsing a guys lung. Can you imagine the media outcry if Lynch had hit Butts in the chest and he had to go to hospital. Lynch didn't even injure Butts and got 5 weeks but he's not one of the AFLs golden boys so gets the book thrown at him.
Gary Lyin. Had a go at Trainor during the Saturday night spectacle for dropping his knees and drawing the high contact free kick. Never heard old Lyin mention Kossie Pickett doing this every game, or Nick Daicos doing this every second.
Loved. 0 win predicted Tigers getting it done. Should've had at least 1-2 more wins. We're in the first year of our rebuild and are beating a team that is supposed to be pushing for finals. Look forward to another 20 years without a finals win Essendon.

It’s odd seeing somebody taking pride in being part of the worst-played game since Port lost to the bye.
