AFL Clubs Mt Rushmore players

[Michaels]

I have started a new series where I will be taking a look at all 18 AFL Clubs and presenting my Mt Rushmore of players for each of the clubs.

The player selection criteria:
-Must be past player
-Must have been a player I saw play, not a player I never saw (regardless of how good their legacy is)

First up we have Adelaide per the link below!

Brisbane and Carlton are dropping over the next week and a bit as well so keep an eye out!

Yeah this Was a tough one!

Aker, Hart, Alistair Lynch, White, Lappin all in contention too.

Agree that some could be interchanged with not many issues

Thanks for reminding me about leppa fwd in the hardships of the late 90s.
To me that solidified his place.
Lynch lappin ashcroft johnson are other players that pop to mind when thinking the Brisbane lions.

He was very very very close.

It was a toss up between those exact two.

I think they could be swapped and be easily justified.

He was a gun!

It is a bit silly doing it based on time watching IMO. Just acknowledge that there will be a recency bias if you are tossing up Joel Selwood v Reg Hickey v Bobby Davis etc. The Richmond Mt Rushmore is going to have like Jack Riewoldt or Trent Cotchin instead of Jack Dyer lol....

Missed a trick with Bradley
He’s on the wing with Robert Harvey in my AFL era team.
Diesel and Bradley are locks for me.
In my time you could throw a blanket on McKay ratts stixs fev kouta Cripps sos
My uncle took me to state trainings multiple occasions bradles another level.
If the afl wasn’t the vfl he would be recognised as the games record holder that he truly deserves
Bradley one of the most underrated players of all time!
