AFL Evolution - Marking query??

So lets get this straight, I played last night and struggled a bit with the marking

I have seen one you tuber say just flick triangle when the 2 circles become one and you will take the mark

I have heard that you hold triangle and release when the 2 circles become one?

What is it, do i tap triangle, or hold and release triangle, Has anyone mastered the art of marking yet??

Also, Kicking to a players advantage, anyone worked that out yet? we need a hints and tips thread!!!!!!

You release triangle to take the mark. It doesn't matter when you start pressing it as long as you release at the right time.

ok, so flicking the triangle button at the right time might be the way to go cause effectively your releasing at the right time

now to get kicking to position down pat!!

Hi guys, I’m super desperate at this point because I’m absolutely loving the game and trying to get back into AFL again after many years of not being interested and this game is hyping me up for the new season. 1 small problem, I have the Xbox one version and marking is horrible, I get destroyed every game and I play on medium settings, I use the tap Y/triangle seugesstion but I can’t get positioning down at all, I lose probably 90-95% it contested marks due to positioning even when I get perfect timing, could I get some advice at all? Should I change the settings or is the positioning while the ball is in the air meant to be slow and glitchy. Thanks guys
