I just quickly came up with mine, bias? Maybe a little bit, obviously games here and there will be wrong but this is what i came up with.

You couldn't squeak Richmond into 9th? You know, just for the lols?

I have us coming in at 7th at this stage. But only 1 win out of top 4.

Hard to see us finish top 8 based on what I've seen the first 2 rounds.

Sydney back to their 2014 form and the Dogs are deadly serious. Would expect them both to finish top 4 along with West Coast and Hawthorn.

Adelaide and North Melbourne are also pushing hard for top 4, they both had a strong finish to 2015.

Fremantle have had a shocking start and it's only going to get worse, playing West Coast this week and Hawthorn in a few weeks, they could well be 1 and 4, pretty hard to come back from that, but they are quality and I still expect them to make their way into the top 8 comfortably.

Next is Geelong with a very very easy run, they would have to be very poor to miss the 8.

That is 8 spots taken, I would be very surprised if any of those 8 missed out, even Fremantle after their slow start, can't forget how dominant they were last year, they'll come good.


9th spot is a battle between the new kids, Gold Coast and GWS, both will be pushing hard for top 8, Gold Coast looking dangerous and fast.

Along with Richmond, they have a fairly easy run like Geelong and then there is us.


We are unproven, all we are is potential. Whether the potential is met or not is a different story.




So 6-7 locks and then there's 4 - 5 teams fighting for 2 spots.




I reckon it will be:


Sydney
West Coast
Hawthorn
Adelaide
Western Bulldogs
Fremantle
North Melbourne
Geelong
