I got a surprise with the $515 and brought up last years invoice.

It's creeping up but still the best membership to have

$515 is still the best deal of any membership packages

It's an expected increase, I think they froze it last year, so a $35 increase isn't too bad.

I hope a few people complain about it though, waiting for a few silver members I know to become full members, and the more that drop out the better their chances.

I agree though, still the best vale membership going around.

If they ever decide to get rid of it, will still have some right within the club to buy Legends memberships or something? Would seem unfair that we would lose access to the grandfinal etc.

The AFL won't scrap the AFL Membership, it's one of their most reliable sources of income, and gives them an area to put all their "special guests" in throughout the year.

Also, there's a very long agreement between the AFL and the MCC/MCG for something like 25 + years to hold the GF at the G, and as long as that agreement is in place, AFL membership will survive.

If anything, they may extend the area, not decrease it over coming years, as much as that would piss off the rest.

I got my Legend renewal (same seats) offer in September and pay by month deduction started 1 month earlier this year from 21st October...$20 combined increase for both my son and I. As not changing seats should receive late December.

He wants to nominate them and if they actually sign up, he will get his membership free or some other reward.
I have no problems with that.
If someone is going to get a membership anyway, why not take advantage of the incentive.

What he said basically. If I nominate 3 people I get next years membership for free, if I nominate 4 I get a free iPad. Would be great if anyone considering to get a membership would let me refer them.

Got alerted on twitter that renewels were open a few weeks ago, so jumped online and renewel straight away. one less thing i need to worry about in life
