Late on the thread, sorry. Last night's game was status quo hence why no one felt the need to talk about it!

hawthorn vs gws will be a bit messy as always
Should be a little better than last year, as per the Brisbane v GWS semi final when yellow and orange are played at night they can work enough.

Still, GWS should be in NS jumper or bring in a white clash, it is so needed.

We’ve had a page dedicated to the Gold Coast jumper. I reckon every single contribution is better than the abomination the club choose. Looking at it today on tv, it is just a plain red jumper. You often only get one chance to do a rebrand. And just like their first jumper 15 years ago, they’ve screwed it up again. Embarrassing.

I just can't imagine players getting excited to play for what is essentially a plain red singlet. I know "Do it for the Emblem" is a bit of a meme but it shows how important creating an iconic design that can look fresh for centuries is.
I mean Norwood's plain navy jumper is iconic, so I disagree with that. But Gold Coast needed to eirther commit to plain red or make their logo stand out. This jumper doesnt know what it wants to do and falls horribly flat.

The only thing Norwood has going for it is the fact that their whole identity is based on the red socks, being the Redlegs and all 😛

I rekon the GC jumper knows exactly what it's trying to do.
Doesn't exactly mean its appealing or executed well
