Hello and welcome to bigfooty tipping for 2008.
The rules are fairly simple:
*Tips must be submitted (FOR ALL 8 GAMES) by Fri 7pm AEST.
Please don't submit your Friday tip and return Saturday lunchtime to submit the rest of your tips waiting on superstars availability over injuries etc as they will not count.
*Exceptions : Rounds 1, 6 & 14. (Also stated in relevant threads)
Round 1 all tips must be submitted by Thur 20/3 6pm AEST
Round 6 all tips must be submitted by Fri 25/4 1pm AEST
Round 14 tips may be submitted in 2 parts - part 1 (first 6 tips must be submitted by Fri 27/6 7pm AEST) and part 2 (final 2 tips to be submitted by Fri 4/7 7pm AEST)
*Tips CANNOT BE changed either. Once they are submitted that's it.
*No submission of tips equals ZERO points for the round. No ifs or buts or excuses. You can get someone to submit your tips in need.
*The 22 tipping threads are up so if you are going away or won't be about etc etc, you can tip in advance. So basically there's no excuses.
*NEW RULE for 2008
WILDCARD ROUND : A wildcard round is worth double points. You can choose whenever you want it to be, so you can play tactically or you may see an easy round to cash in and decide to use it. Whichever way you decide to use it, you must state that you are using it when submitting tips for that round.
*Anyone wanting to join after Round 1 may do so, but unfortunately will start on zero and have some catching up to do.
1 point per correct tip
0 points per incorrect tip
1 point for a draw
*Tipping ladder thread will be up prior to the next round beginning, but more often than not before Tuesday.
