So they are up to number 3 and only Pendles at 4 I think and Swan at about 31 not likely we will get any more.

I would have thought, given some of the names between 30-50 that Sidebottom, Treloar Varcoe at least should been in it.

What do people reckon?

Who's doing the top 50? Mike Sheehan? Mark Robinson? If we were back in the days of the printed version I wouldn't give it the credit to wipe my...

Never mind top 50

Aim: to have our Top 22 triumph in last match of season

Varcoe is too much of an unfashionable/workhorse player. Treloar and maybe Williams should be on there, and Elliott will feature soon enough.

These sort of things don't bother me :)

AFL is a team game, so whether you have 5 in the top 50 or none, it's all irrelevant.

By seasons end we will have 10 in there. Varcoe not being in there shows how misguided it is.
Top 50 implied either in or on the brink of the AA squad, or you need to have some serious credits in the bank.

I love Varcoe like we all do, but he doesn't fit either of those categories. Might push too 100.

To all those questioning Treloar not being there, Adam is a victim of interstate syndrome. A side like GWS isn't going have it's stars as recognised as Victorian stars or as much as already established interstate stars. Also remember, they already have Cameron and Shiel as their recognised stars.

Treloar will be on many more radars in and after 2016 thanks to wearing a Collingwood jumper.

Agree. Just like Dangerfield. Now he's in Victoria all of the captains and everyone else is picking him as the third best player in the league, potential brownlow medallist, etc.

He wasn't before and came 6th last year, why's he any more likely this year?

Especially in an arguably worse side.

Will never be an All-Australian, in my opinion

Never know.

His NAB Challenge form has been overlooked, and he was in similar form at the start of last year before breaking his hand. Finished the year off well.

If he's going at 30 and a goal for the most part of the year, he'd have to get a look in.

Think the players have go it pretty right. Pendles and Swan are really the only 2 currently.

Hopefully by the end of 2016 things will be different. I would like to see Cloke back up there. Treloar to earn a spot and Sidey also a show. Fas I see as a chance also. A fit Ben Reid for the season could do it. Hopefully if we play finals we will have 3-4 at least in this list

We have a bunch of young players that have the potential to eventually crack AA, as well as these little revenue-generating lists.

Sidebottom should probably be in the top 50 and Treloar will be, but I don't care. It means nothing.
