One Melbourne player. One.
One North player also and he's about to turn 37.

I've had a really good chuckle at his top 50. His bias & catty comments are very satisfying - especially where he wrote that Mitchell "picks & chooses when he plays well - like last year's Grand Final".

Seriously? Pendles no where near that eschelon, but will likely get the nod if Swan's already on there.Fyfe, Bud, Pendlebury, Selwood, Gaz in that order?
Would say that's pretty much spot on. You could swap Pendles and Buddy but that's about it I think.Fyfe, Bud, Pendlebury, Selwood, Gaz in that order?
The pictures mean nothing.is it just me or does number 4 look a lot similar to Brian Lake?
Don't be so sure mate, No. 6 looks a lot like Roughy! The pictures mean nothing.
Wasn't it Diesel Williams who said Mitch was the closest player he had seen to him? Wonder how he rated Diesel?I've had a really good chuckle at his top 50. His bias & catty comments are very satisfying - especially where he wrote that Mitchell "picks & chooses when he plays well - like last year's Grand Final".
Let's remember, here's a bloke who, even midway through last year refused to rate us because we play "pretty, unaccountable, chip-chip football".
Whenever his comments are aired, I always recall Adelaide Hawk's comments about him - It's a good job he could play football because otherwise he would have had a career washing cars for a living.
Just you Squirk, unless he has grown feathers, and has started ducking.is it just me or does number 4 look a lot similar to Brian Lake?

don't look at Mark Ricciuto's top 50...it's a joke! Eddie Betts rated higher than Mitchell.

)Agreed. Should be higher.Roughie at 6 was a surprise... sorry Rough but really?

- hmmmm I wonder ??Punky at 46???? .. To quote the great John McEnroe - "You can't be %$#%$ing serious" (drinks table goes flying)
... Burch, Gibbo, Gunstall??? ... Surely these guys are worthy of a spot???
These lists are a crock - It is a team sport .. individuals mean nothing.[/QUOTE]
We look at our players through our rose coloured glasses, and why shouldn't we. However, who cares who is in the best 10, 20 or 50 best player lists, as long as we can maintain our crown as the best team, I don't give a continental if none of our 22 make the top 10.
