Really don't like the idea or using our main core for AFLX, if anything just chuck in some of the new kids with maybe a couple veterans at that'll do it. Yeah, makes sense for him. Get some match play in. Depends if he gets picked, unless he was told he would and accidently leaked it.

Treloar and DeGoey have been on modified programmes recently and Crisp has been on a modified programme all pre-season so far, so cant see any of them playing.

I reckon it's great match practice. Bruise free against quality opposition. Seems less likely to cause injury than match simulation at training.

How is it any different to a training session? Players get some practice and run in their legs in a bruise-free match simulation
