In the recent past I have never really bothered to look into how I could have my say at the AGM, given that I live interstate.
This year I will ensure that my level of membership will enable me to vote at the AGM - although I won't be able to attend - and I know when I have to have everything in order documentation wise to be able to vote.
However, I was wondering if I could get some advice on other matters - such as the process for appointing a proxy, what I am actually able to vote on, whether I can vote on board appointments in advance or whether I have to do it via proxy and so on and so on.
I own shares in several companies, so I have a broad idea of what is involved with AGM's but not specifically when it comes to being a member of a football club - and certainly not when it is from a distance. Is anyone able to assist me or suggest where I could get some more specific information? I would really like to make my vote count.
Thanks!
