Wow...........just wow, so glad we are not associated with him anymore.

Find it funny that a number of people that i know that were on Akers side when we sacked him are not against him but its funny they won't admit they were wrong.

Anyway what he said doesn't need to be said. Only a person with a cold heart could say anything negative about a person that has just passed whether they are well known or not.

Big thumbs down Aker yet again :thumbsd:

When I saw that he had run his mouth again, the only thing that I was thinking was "thank god we don't have to clean this mess up" because, what the actual hell man?
That's a terrible thing to say a day after Stynes passed away and, although some celebrities are almost canonised when they die, Stynes is the type of man that these reactions are entirely appropriate for.

The worst thing is he has worked over the media again and gets exactly what he wanted out of it, don't think what he says is accidental it was calculated, gets himself in the headlines and getting his name in lights before he does celebrity apprentice, which will again will keep himself in the lights by playing 'the villian' and have the media splashing his name all about papers again, he has a sick craving for attention and the media gives him everything he wants and if they don't like over past 6 months he creates it himself.

Words cannot express the pure hatred I feel towards this piece of trash.

I feel sick and ashamed that a great man like Jim Stynes has been disrespected by such a worthless little ****.

Take the chip off your shoulder you tosser, it's not all about you. Get back in your hole and stay there....forever.

Lets see Newman stick up for him now eh?

Akermanis and Jim Stynes should not be mentioned in the same sentence and Akermanis’ comments are so appallingly ridiculous that they are not worthy of discussion. Please let this post be the last so we may deprive it of oxygen and relegate Akermanis and the thread to history.

What I find absolutely piss funny is how on this site everyone over on the other boards were bagging us when we got rid of him, you know what I'm talking about...

"Aker was right!!!"

"It's just a boys club down at Whitten Oval!!"

"They're afraid of success!! They just don't want someone to tell it like it is!!!"

These people are the same people who are (rightfully) outraged over his disgraceful comments about Jimmy Stynes. They didn't want a bar of it when it was, again, rightfully, pointed out to the by us all the lies he'd told, his disgraceful homophobic article, his leaking of in house info to Sam Newman, his slanderous comments about fellow team-mates in his book...

At least now maybe people are waking up to what he actually is.

Embarrassing that we ever had an association with him, quite simply a scumbag. Did he ever discuss Stynes while he was alive and able to defend himself?

**** I hate the bigfooty idiots that trashed our club and Brad for his sacking are now doing 180's.

Sad stuff for the pitiful little man too, at one time he was one of my favorite players, owned some of the most epic moments in football which will be lost among the negative memories he is leaving.

If the footy show wanted their best ratings night ever, they'd get him on tonight for a one on one "interview" with Lyon.

In his defence, he did make a point of mentioning how good he was with community work and how great a footballer he was. It's just as always with Aker, terrible timing. It's one of them things that 99% of people would keep to themselves and not blurt out to the world.

I dont think there would be a Bulldog supporter who wasnt wrapped with Aker when he was firing for us and at the same time didnt half expect things to finish badly. We took him on Aker is Aker and he was always going to be controversial we look a bit silly being suprised at this.

Apology

Ok that's lame Aker  Especially this part:
In regard to the reference of Jim being a "nasty" person, Jim was competitive, aggressive and “nasty” on the battlefield of AFL Footy, and these are all the things I loved about him. When I said the word “nasty”, I was referring to the year 2000 when Jim was fighting against his own country. He wanted to win more than anyone, I thought that was great and itʼs what I loved about the man
Ahuh sure.

No! He's not that smart. It really annoys me when people say he's 'clever' because he's anything but. He'd struggle to steal candy from a baby - in fact he's about as smart as a baby. On twitter he just abuses people that most celebrities have the brains to ignore. Its classic how dumb he is and always was. Dealing with Akermanis is like dealing with a naughty school kid who winks and talks dramatically when they think they are being to smart for everyone. **** he's dumb and now and he's gone and pissed his (2nd) career down the toilet! Thank **** for that.

He was employed to play football, not be controversial.

If all he had done was play football no one would have a problem with him.

I am not defending what he said Leon I just think we took him on lets not be high and mighty when he comes out and says these stupid things.

I think it gets to a point where how he bahaves goes beyond what is acceptable, where you are entitled to say he has gone too far. This is such an occasion and I think we have every right to express both surprise and disgust.

While I don't completely disagree with his premise. But as is always the case with Jason, there was no need to say anything at all. The guy's a w***er of the highest order.

It wouldn't surprise me if Aker ends up being untouchable in the media world after not too long. All I can say is that I hope it's sooner rather than later.
