My fave Nirvana album. Favourite song is lithium. something in the way and on a plain are also among my faves. The album was on the charts forever back in early 90's and its one of the best records of the last 15 years in my opinion. What do you think of the album.

for the influence it had on the industry it deserves its place in history but bands like Soundgarden , Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains at there peak wrote better albums.

love it. can listen to it over and over, in fact im gonna put it on now. fav songs has to be lithium, drain you, something in the way and obviously smells like teen spirit. i bought it for 2.50 at cash convertors. bloody bargain

Was the flag bearer for grunge,
solid album,
12 zillion hooks
but with some slick production from Butch Vig turned their sound into something they tried to avoid.

The Steve Albini produced "In Utero" i still think is the better album.
Far more raw and desparate
"A suicide note writ large" to quote Strolling Bone.

For all of grunge you can't be AIC "Dirt"
"Sickman" into "Rooster" into "Junkhead" and on it goes,
