saw their vid on channel V last and went out and bought their album..."watch out". pretty good stuff with the combined lyrics from a screamer and a normal guy, as is the case with most punk/emo bands today. aka from autumn to ashes, funeral for a friend, atreyu, taking back sunday(i know not a screamer but two singers anyway), From first to last etc etc. but all in all a very good cd from a band i know little of.

anyone else fans of theirs, or other bands of similiar ilk?

Good band, way better than most of the bands you have compared them to anyway. Both their albums are pretty good and they are also awesome live. If you're interested Dallas Green who is a vocalist/guitarist with alexisonfire has a solo side project known as City and Colour.

Very big fan. They put on one of the best lives shows I've ever seen (not that I've seen all that many.. but enough to make that statement).

Dallas would have to have one of the best voices going around. Check out the song "Sidewalk When She Walks" to see what I mean.

For an old fella like myself ( mid 30's !!) it was refreshing to see a young band that A: were very good live and B: had a great time doing it....The self titled album is a cracker , probably prefer it to the watch out album
