Remember CC saying the battle between the Saints and Freo would be like ALi Vs. Fraser. And that 2004 was just round 1 so to speak.

What has happened to both our teams? We were supposed to be the up and coming lists of the AFL. Now after 9 rounds in 2005 we both sit 4 wins and 5 losses. 2005 was meant to be a breakout year for freo, and simililarly you were premiership favourites, what has happened? Where have we gone wrong?

I know its early days yet. But its been a pretty disappointing start to the year. The midyear break can't come sooner. Hopefully both teams regroup and charge forward.

It certainly has been a topsy turvey season.

I remember back in 2003 both Freo and the Saints were the new kids on the block, and there was talk of developing a cross-continental rivalry.
The Saints kicked on last year, whilst Freo just didn't click. This year we both have been quite inconsistent maybe Freo a shade better in form.

Actually now that I think of it - we have something in common - Larcom...

Sorry to disagree oh great one, but the term super power should be for a side that has actually won something. The reason your club is a rabble is because supporters like you keep thinking making a preliminary final is a great achievement. Every Victorian club has made a preliminary final in the last 7 years, and its the clubs unlike yours that don't consider this a major step that goes on to greater glory. A lot of people are laughing at you guys, so leave the dockers alone.
