Being relatively new to internet forums, I just wonder is it common practice for regular posters to have aliases. It may be my paranoia kicking in, but I have found that some regular posters often have these obscure posters chiming in with posts that seem to back up their views. I have noticed 4 recently (no names) that their language is very similar. Just wondering if any one else has noticed this and/or is it common practice on internet forums?

Cheers. Wouldnt it be good if every owned up to what their alias is. It would be quite amusing. The dectective in me has found one that I am 99% sure of and one that I would say 80%.

Once again you are proven to be a liar, I have only been suspended & when I have been suspended I have not posted until the suspension was up, unlike others who register new names after they have been BANNED from the boards.

And you are again proved to be a liar. I know of another forum where you re-registered with another alias when one user name was banned....three times.

Why don't you post who they are? As soon as other people work out aliases, they post them.
 
We are talking about BF, not that crappy inferior site that only has 3 posts a day, which are all just swearing, abuse & posting pics of BF posters without their permission, just so you sad individuals, have something to post about. :rolleyes:

Also, the majority of posts there, are talking about what is happening on BF, that site would die without BF. :D

Now why would I spoil someones party. I would only divulge the information I had, if the poster/posters continually got on my nerves. But I would say that there is more hope of me shytting in the queens handbag than that happening. Its up to them, but I find it quite amusing.

Well Seindude is funny and as you know, I have no sense of humour. And I may be wrong but isnt Scousecat a mod. Now if I was a mod. the site would be closed in a week, with probable legal action pending against me. I dont feel the need for an alias, and as you can probably see from my 1 million posts last month, I very rarely get support. But hey thats the nature of the beast.
